From time to time the Conservation Foundation hosts or co-sponsor events with McHenry County Conservation District to provide support and increase awareness while creating community good will and civic mindedness. Our support aids the mission of McHenry County Conservation District which offers outdoor recreational amenities, environmental education programs, and special events that provide our residents the opportunity to spend time together, have fun enjoying the outdoors and build community.
Proceeds raised by the Foundation’s events will go toward specific conservation projects that will enhance a user’s experience, attract new visitors, or assist in the preservation of wildlife habitat.
